Find out what's in the fast food you eat

If you're on, or have ever been on, a diet you'll know how difficult it can be to keep track of the calories you're consuming. You may be able to find the nutritional information for the food in your pantry, but what about the stuff you get from restaurants and fast food joints?

Thankfully, Fast Food Calorie Counter is here to help. This Android app is designed to help you keep track of what you're eating when you're dining out. The program includes details of more than 4,700 menu items from the 41 most popular fast food chains in the USA. These include the likes of McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Starbucks, Subway and Pizza Hut.

For each item, Fast Food Calorie Counter displays the amount of calories, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, and protein. This information is shown in graph format, as well as numerically. To use the program you simply click on the logo of the fast food joint you're visiting then select an item from the list of food, or search for it in the box provided.

Fast Food Calorie Counter is dead easy to use and all the information is displayed very clearly. One of the main problems with the program is that it's focused on the top American fast food chains, so if you live outside the States you may not find it as useful.

Overall though, Fast Food Calorie Counter provides a handy way of watching what you eat when you're dining out.
